Great little spot for lunch. I got the chicken pesto panini which was great, not greasy, light and flavorful. Comes with a small salad, which makes it a nice lunch. My latte was great too. Even got a little surprise cookie with lunch, was a nice touch.

Great place to start your morning with a big warm smile from the staff; you can feel the positive vibes or maybe I just caught them on a good day. Regardless it was appreciated. The place looks very chill where you can sit and enjoy your cup of joe or one of their delicious pastries. Couldn't help myself and grabbed a meat pie for later (steak and cheese). Cold brew hit the spot and love to make a notice pass before I head back to New York.

I absolutely love Ponsonby Rd Cafe! They have the best oat milk latte in town and they are always so friendly! I adore Jamie, his wife, and his team and even though they have some amazing New Zealand meat pies, I also really love their salads. Not to mention their Matcha latte is one of the best that I've ever had. Highly recommend!

What a gem find! Found that Ponsoby Road Cafe serves meat pies and sausage rolls so had to go check it out for breakfast this morning. We had a steak & mushroom meat pie, a sausage roll and an avocado toast with mushrooms. Everything was excellent tasting. Pie and sausage roll crusts were pleasantly flaky. Mushrooms in the pie and on the toast were flavorful. Only request would be to season the meats up one level. I know it's a fine line and it is tricky to suit various palates. Small cosy place with lots of houseplants especially trailing pothos.

I met up with some coworkers here. We chose the shop because it has coffee but also food (that's not just breakfast pastries), and particularly interested in trying their Austrailian meatpies! I ordered the Arnold Palmer, which was so refreshing after walking over in 80° heat. My friend got a limeade, which she really enjoyed as well. We split a butter chicken meat pie, which came with a couple of sauces that I didn't try because it was yummy all on its own! A perfect bite to tie me over until dinner!

What's that out? Here is the friendly and welcoming service! They have a nice variety on their menu, I recommend the savory meat pies. They have tasty drinks as well, and a bit of outside seating. Parking is metered, I love that they open early. Good option for the area if you are looking for something different!

Ponsonby is such a cute little coffee shop where I walk to go get my morning coffee and bagel. It's not only convenient but everyone that works here is so nice. The owner always has goodies to give out, and they're always delicious! It can get busy at times especially during lunch time, so make sure you are prepared for it. Trust me, it's worth the wait if you do have to wait. If you don't, service is pretty quick and great. I typically get the iced honey vanilla latte and a plain bagel. I've had their breakfast burritos before and their steak and cheese meat pies and they are YUM. Check this place out if you're in the area, they won't disappoint.

I stumbled in here randomly with some friends when we were looking for somewhere for lunch and I am SO glad we found it! This cute little cafe is small but mighty with a substantive menu of food and creative drinks. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful - from the soft panini bread to the veggies of the salads. In addition to "typical" cafe beverages (coffees, iced teas, etc), they had a delicious Hibiscus Arnold Palmer that hit the spot on a hot day. The worker behind the counter was extremely helpful with giving suggestions of the most popular items as well as her personal favorites. I overheard another employee say something about parking in the back, but we found street parking before we knew that. Next time, I'll go for the back parking option. The atmosphere was relaxed and we were surrounded by greenery - clearly they take good care of their plants! The plants were gorgeous, but they made seating a little challenging with how low they hung. Regardless, I'll definitely be back here for food, a beverage, and likely a few hours of relaxing with the chill vibes.
